Please help, I am a classic pearshape and only 5ft tall and cannot find trousers or jeans to fit, if they fit on the waist they are too tight on the bottom and vis versa. Does anyone else have the same problem and where do you buy your trousers and jean. I don't want leggings.

Thanks

I've been looking for some and found 2 pairs recently! One in Dorothy Perkins and one in Sainsbury's! Grin
Very chuffed with the Sainsbo's ones - £10 and fit really nicely. I'm 5'4" and wear short length though so may be a bit long for you?

MrsFreedy · 28/03/2011 14:01

Viva - I am relived to know that I am not the only one with the same problem.

Tx Tommy I'll try the Dorothy Perkins trousers. Everything is too long for me Smile

I buy things that can be taken in. It's not as pricey as you think.

Gap - 4/6 Ankle = 8/10 short
White stuff - short leg
FWM - petite

Happy hunting from a fellow shorty (5' 1/2")

Gap Curvy - can't recommend them highly enough.

I'm 5ft 4 and a 29 or 30 leg. I bought the 30 leg ones as this is the shortest they go, so I've paid £8 to have them taken up an inch. Don't mind paying for this seeing as they're not expensive jeans.

The material is soooo soft and they fit perfectly around the waist and hips - try them on!

I have these on at the moment and they are very good if you have a fair distance between hips and waist like me, also 5ft. The waist is pretty small though, I have the 28 waist and my waist is more like 26

MrsFreedy · 28/03/2011 15:04

thanks all

I'm off to Gap after work Grin

I buy the Carrie jeans and they fit me great when I wear heels with them for a night out. You could try the Melanie. Free returns if they're not for you!

I'm 5'1 and find river island shorter length do the job
Got some nice straight legged jeans from uniqlo - a bit long but they alter them in the shop for free
