I have searched the web with little sucess apart from this which I love but costs about 4 times more than my maximum price (and more than I would spend on a bag for me)

It needs to be good for her back as she is little

FebreezeYourJeans · 28/03/2011 09:38

from amazon - fab reviews

PorkChopSter · 28/03/2011 09:39

This?

diddl · 28/03/2011 10:20

Ooh-love the purple batchel.

littleducks · 28/03/2011 10:24

I really like the Quadra one Febreeze linked to....but dd isnt overly impressed as it isnt pink or purple Angry

I dont think a satchel would work tbh, she needs to carry herself

OP-does she not like the Lands End one that you linked to?

The batchel can also have rucksack type straps put on.

Very expensive, though.

littleducks · 28/03/2011 13:17

She is a bit meh about them, i think she wants a huge hot pink Hannah Montana one like her friend (but she doesnt really know who HM is she is just copying and I worry that her friend is going to topple at times as the bag seems so big keeps slipping off)

She is taken with these [http://www.skiphop.com/product/21020.html skip hop]] ones but I'm not certain if it would fit A4 stuff in

Try searching for backpacks for laptops as that sounds the size you need even though it's not actually for a laptop iyswim.

These are colourful

TKMaxx also good for backpacks.

littleducks · 28/03/2011 14:01

They are really colourful and cheap, my only worry is they might be too big for a nearly 5 yr old

Might order one anyway and if its too big use it myself

Have you got a TK Maxx near you? They always have a really good selection of backpacks in different sizes, reasonably priced too.

heymammy · 28/03/2011 14:10

DD1 has this one from john lewis www.johnlewis.com/171495/Style.aspx am sure it would be big enough for folder and packed lunch without being tooooo big

BendyBob · 28/03/2011 15:01

Oh do look at this Elmer the Elephant one - just scroll down a bit. (I think I want it actually but am 40 years too old to wear itGrin)

ChateauRouge · 28/03/2011 19:56
