I sag ..... help!

Spring comes, the layers come off and it becomes apparent ... I sag, and I mean SAG. It's that old chestnut, my tummy. I'm 5'7", weigh about 8st 10lb and am thin but my tummy bears the look of one that has carried 3 pregnancies, the last being DTs.

What oh what can I do? I have no muscle tone - I just bulge from underneath my ribs down. So come on ye Mumsnetters, tell me how to tone up but here are the criteria: Exercise classes are out. I live in the sticks, spend my days ferrying children around and my nights doing the same so simply don't have time for a class. Sad Hmm but true. I'll happily do sit-ups or whatever but nothing too aerobic or fatburning (bad tachicardia at times so don't want to exacerbate that). I'm lazy when it comes to exercise - I hate exercising. I'm quite active though and don't spend my day sitting on my bum (I wish!).

Any ideas to get me toned up for summer then? Or am I a lost cause? Grin

The plank is a great exercise for strengthening the core stomach muscles.

Take up a pressup position, and bend your arms until you are resting on your elbows. Make sure your bum isn't in the air, and your back isn't sagging. Hold for 30s-2 mins, depending on strength.

If you lift one arm out to the side, keeping your body as flat as possible, you can also exercise the obliques. Hold this, then change arms.
