What shall I wear to a surprise 50th afternoon tea?

Not at a London hotel, at a fairly modern local place? I was going to wear Brora liberty print dress with black tights and boots but it is really sunny here today!! Think jeans might be too casual? Any ideas?

Jeans with a blazer to smarten them up?? If had nice bag and a nice fresh top then would be a nice sat afternoon smart outfit I think.....
I would wear skinnies, breton top and ballet pumps with a jersey blazer and my bayswater (but that's literally my uniform at the mo for everything!!!)

Hmmmm meant "fresh" top as in kind of light and summery rather than freshly washed, but maybe that goes without saying!!!! :o :o

Will definitely be freshly washed! Have nice tops but no blazer- have big norks! Have nice Breton top from red discount at Hobbs- will go try on!
