I am getting married in 9 weeks time Shock. I would really like to have nice skin on the day but I know it's going to be horrible Sad. I get breakouts at certain times of the month and the wedding day is on the worst day I could have chosen for my skin. lol.

I eat fairly healthy and take care of my skin. I wear make up but always wash it off at the end of the day.

I am young with teenage skin, its quite sensitive.

Does anybody have any ideas?

Sorry! It was your comment about giving up contraception after the wedding - I thought you were plunging in so to speak Blush with babies, I mean Grin

lol. Yes hopefully we will be TTC our second child. DS was a suprise so this TTC thing is looking a bit scary. I still haven't got out of the mindset that having a baby is a BAD idea and will ruin your future and your Dad will be cross etc etc...I am a grown up, we will be married, and it will be a GOOD idea. I'm just watching One Born Every Minute and can't wait for that to me again! Grin

This (Mario Badescu drying lotion) is pricey but brilliant if a spot does come.

Hot cloth cleansers are good for troubled skin and will keep you gently exfoliated without an irritating scrub.

I found that when I used to get hormonal breakouts, taking a big dose of Evening Primrose Oil capsules (I used Efamol, 6 per day, Boots does them on 3 for 2 and you can buy them with Boots points) made a really noticeable difference. It's supposed to help stabilize your hormone levels or something. It really kicked in and helped after a month or so, and I found that the spots I did get were much easier to deal with (sorry, TMI, but they could just be gently squeezed dealt with and would immediately dry up and vanish, instead of becoming huge painful inflamed things under the skin).

Good luck.
