Anyone's DH done the Shred?

DH came back from boxing tonight and the exercises he mentioned seemed pretty similar to the shred 1-2-3 system.

Has anyone's DH/P done the shred & got results? My DH seems keen to do it with me, but I'm Blush at having him see me attempt press-ups. Although the competition would be good...

I do mine with OH. It is the only exercise DVD he has ever been interested in. I am always pleased that on the second repeat of the press ups we are both following Anita, I'm often following her on the first go!

Doing it with OH means I can't not bother when I feel lazy so good for motivation!

Good to hear it, Jumbs!

The motivation would be so much better with DH alongside me.

It doesn't seem too girly-centric iyswim. Quite high impact. Not all "tone your tum & bum."

(I think I would be better than DH too.Wink)

Yes i do it with my DH, it's all about getting the correct weights.

I was doing it with dh in Jan (sadly, we both lost motivation, need to get it back). Like Jumbs' dh, it was the only one my dh has ever done (and got knackered on!). I put him on level 3 while I did level 1! (We had to do it back to back, but that's ok when it's only 20 mins). His encouragement really helped me tbh.

I got it for DH for Xmas as he likes exercising in front of the TV with weights. He did it once or twice, and pulled so many muscles he gave up. Probably because he was using far too heavy weights.

We were shredding together this very morning (Saturday AM being one of the few times we are in the house together at the same time!) As Everything says - we do levels 2 and 3. I use 3 kg weights for most of it, and he uses 5kg. We both drop down a weight level for the squats and V raises in level 2 though! He certainly finds shredding a proper work out judging by the faces he was pulling this morning.... (and so was I.)

He also does Billy Blanks Boot Camp workout with me (or by himself) sometimes. All the other ones he has dismissed as too easy or too boring.
