I get an itchy scalp from a lot of shampoos and Aussie is one of the worst offenders.

Katisha · 25/03/2011 17:54

What about doing some sort of patch test on your arm or something? See if same happens.

pointydog · 25/03/2011 18:05

I can't use the aussie shampoos. They irritate my head no end.

SummerRain · 25/03/2011 18:05

Shampos never irritate me anywhere else other than my scalp despite the fact that I use them in the shower so they run all down my back.

A gp told me years ago what I have on my scalp is mild psoriasis and over the years I've discovered going more than 48 hours without washing my hair or using certain shampoos aggravates it but if I wash my hair every day or two and use friendly shampoos it doesn't flare up at all.

thanks all
it feels like its worse on my temples - just to the side of my eyes

Took me 6 weeks to get my scalp back to normal after using it - it was AWFUL and ended up using T Gel to rid rid of the itchiness and flakes it caused!

cabbageroses · 25/03/2011 19:35

I got a dry flaky scalp from it- shame as my hair looked great.

Have gone back to Chalresl Worthington.
