Birkenstock?

Fluteyboots · 23/03/2011 21:44

Yes, Birkenstocks. The toe ones are nice

brimfull · 23/03/2011 21:48

she hates birkies
I have been trrrying to persuade her to consider these merrels

FitFlops. Tons better than Birkenstocks for comfort.

fluffles · 23/03/2011 21:51

i saw a nice pair of teva - sort of ribbons.. hang on..

wearymum200 · 23/03/2011 21:51

I have a pair of Mephisto sandals
www.shoesinternational.co.uk/Ladies/mephisto-footwear/mephisto-ladies-sandals/r/27/233/2/
they are not cheap but amazingly comfy and I walk miles in them

brimfull · 23/03/2011 21:51

hates fitflops as well
I love them though

like this www.onestep-beyond.co.uk/product.php?id_product=163

they are hiking ones but they are more feminine than the usual ones... but if she's going to canada i wouldn't bother, sandals are cheaper over there, i'd go without and buy something there.

brimfull · 23/03/2011 21:54

I have some of these though I didn't pay that much.
I love them. Very comfortable, I can walk milkes in them and they're really good quality too. Much more comfortable that birkies

fluffles · 23/03/2011 22:01

seriously, i wouldn't buy something before she goes, let her decide what it's like and what she needs out there - and they'll be cheaper.

i bought lots of stuff when i did bunac in the US for a summer, nothing in the uk was suitable and i wanted what the US counsellors had.

bronze · 23/03/2011 22:01

these
try again

brimfull · 23/03/2011 22:04

nice bronze but that's a no as well

thses are sort of ok I think??

thanks for trying girls

I will leave her to buy ridiculously unsuitable sandals and she can suffer.
