Where can I buy Boden style (ie: not khaki or beige!) clothes for DS, that are a bit more affordable?

I'm fed up of searching everywhere for bright clothes that aren't various shades of brown and covered in skulls. I really like some of the Boden stuff but I just can't justify spending almost £20 on a t-shirt that he will spill stuff down/slide across the football pitch it/catch on fences etc.

H&M have some nice stuff, but my nearest one is only small so not much choice. Can anyone suggest anywhere else?

I used to like the younger boys range in Next, but at 7, he's too big for it now, dammit!

Sale on in Joules at the minute.
next is usually ok too.

TracyK · 23/03/2011 16:54

Can you not do H&M online?

Gap (in the sale) are good.

Or Debenhams online.

Or TK Maxx (in store I think - not online)

TracyK · 23/03/2011 16:54

and also Ebay.

NorbertDentressangle · 23/03/2011 16:55

Vertbaudet sometimes have some nice things.

I was going to suggest H&M too -can you shop online there now?

NorbertDentressangle · 23/03/2011 16:58

Seasalt (in the sale)

Lands End kids?

overmydeadbody · 23/03/2011 17:18

I was just going to link to a ownderful online shop for bright and colourful boy's clothes, but I can't find them!!

I have ordered from them about three times, buying all of DS's t shirts from them, and now I can't find them!

They are called either Kids Should be Kids or Let Kids be Kids or something.

Maybe another MNer will know...

2madboys · 23/03/2011 17:26

I get lots from Gap when they do 30% weekends. Tshirts last two years for DS1, two more for DS2 and sometimes get passed down to their cousin after that!

BeattieBow · 23/03/2011 17:27

I think Kids should be kids went out of business.
have you tried M&S op?

I like the stuff in Landsend too.

MrsMeow · 23/03/2011 17:29

Thanks very much for the ideas everyone, I shall have a good look tonight when DC are in bed :)

I totally forgot about H&M being online now! I got so used to making a special trip to stock up.

Whoopsidaisy, thanks for the Joules link, I really like some of those hoodies. Lancelottie, the LandsEnd site won't load for me, but will try again later.

OverMyDeadBody, if you remember let me know!

BeattieBow, he has a few bits from M&S which are lovely. Really generously sized as well so they last :)

2madboys, GAP is a good idea, will take a look later - I so wish I still lived in the city! I know we're lucky in being able to buy online, but I like to feel stuff before I buy it Blush

I use H&M and have just bought some very nice things from the website which they dont have in our nearest shop.

withagoat · 23/03/2011 17:36

h and ,

Boilable · 23/03/2011 17:40

Primark have done lots of Boden rip offs homages in their boys ranges this season

Meggles76 · 23/03/2011 19:51

Try John Lewis. Lots of the T-shirt tops that Boden do at half the price.

MrsMeow · 24/03/2011 21:40

Thanks for the ideas everyone :)
