Jeans for larger (and taller) ladies

Help!

I am a size 18-20 (depending on brand, fit, time of the month etc). I am also 5'10". I cannot find jeans anywhere :-( Even M&S don't have any denim jeans in a size 20 long, but plenty in a 20 medium that fit around my middle but are ankle flappers.

NYDJ have done okay in the past - but I need to try them on and I can't find anyone that stocks a UK18.

Whilst I know I'm overweight - I have a terrible tummy - I don't look obese. Most people are genuinely shocked that I'm larger than a 16 and I manage to look fairly stylish in work clothes and dresses.

What am I missing ladies?!

If you can bear to order them over phone, Charles Vermont (just google them) do a good selection of NYDJ in all sizes. More styles and better prices than John Lewis. They are certainly long - I'm 5'9'' and have had to have them taken up.

I'm 6ft, and while I don't like a lot of Long Tall Sally stuff I do buy their jeans. They come in 35" / 36" and 38" inside leg. Just got some last week and I love them. They are quite high waisted and very flattering. I'm a size 18 too.

People usually think I'm 14/16 - it's the height thing.

or for cheaper alternatives try New Look Tall or Dorothy Perkins Tall range, although have to say quality isn't the best.

Next do Tall too.

Thank you all.

I gave in and got NYDJ - found some eventually in John Lewis. Glad I tried them on - the fit between styles was very different. Ended up with blue/black boot leg that aren't too awful - look ok with heels and converse!

I'm also having the a total nightmare from hell. I am a size 22 and 5 ft 3, and pretty much every website that I have been on to order size 22 jeans are ALL out of stock for the next 5 to 10 weeks... I'm nearly 13 weeks now and can feel my tummy is beginning to 'bump' out a little... what on earth am I going to do without finding any jeans :( everything else in stock is slim fit which will look hideous :(
