Hey Shiny thanks, not my taste either usually. Tend to wear silver jewellery but have a v necked top in a rich purple/navy which I think will look better with a piece of chunky gold but have this inbuilt (stupid) conditioning which tells me all gold (even real) is tacky. But BR charge £4 delivery charge and I don't want anything else from their range so am erring and ahhring whether to get it.

Can you take the pendant off the necklace? If so you could swap it to a ribbon that matches your top. Reduces the "bling" and guarantees no one will be wearing the same as you :-) Personally I'd go with high impact silver but can see why your leaning towards gold for that colour top.

Oh update, apparently u can combine Gap and BR so bought a few bits from there and then decided I wanted to try another necklace from BR (which appears to have now sold out so can't link) and then found a present for DH, so in the end ended up with free delivery!

Really cyb, I think the chain looks like it should have GRAN hanging from it in thick gold scroll.

This is the other necklace, not to wear with the navy top however (and was in the sale!)

I think the chain is interesting, but for a statement pendant silk ribbon can look really unique and interesting. I'm a jewellery designer and I use them all the time ... try this place www.eternalflow.co.uk for some interesting ribbon, they're very reasonably priced.

Update: Necklace turned up and, no word of exageration, there are some rappers who wouldn't wear bling this big. The carnation is HUGE and the gold chains are light and look cheap. Back it goes.
