The best place to buy pumps??

I always buy cheapos - Primarni or New Look. I've got fairly wide feet and after a few wears they go all shapeless and flappy.

I need a couple of decent pairs for work. Maybe black? And silver or grey?

Blochs? Sometimes you can pick them up in TK Maxx otherwise here

The best pair I ever had were from Gap, but they don't have them that often. They were amazing and I wore them to death.

Kate Kanzier are quite good. Also Joules - they are regularly on sale on Joules at great reductions. They're nice quality soft leather and comfortable.

Oh there's always French Sole - they do a hardwearing firm soled style for work. And Pretty Ballerinas.

I just got a nice comfy pair from M&S. I'd tried on ones from Blowfish and Rocket Dog, and they felt like I had a rock under the arch of my feet. These are lovely. They look nice too.
