How much cleavage is safe to show nowadays?

I'm wearing a low cut dress today.

Not obscenely low cut but am a 36D and have to show some clevage/wear lower necklines otherwise I look fat with a double chin.

But because I've been covering up all winter with scarves I'm feeling a tad self concious.

Am wearing it with a well supporting bra, cardigan and boots and the dress comes down to my knees.

But am still worried about looking a tad 'slutty'.

Any other larger breasted ladies feel this way?

I know what you mean - a dress which can look lovely and classy on someone smaller looks very revealing on me (30hh) - I;ve kind of learned to live with it and will either wear a lace trimmed vest top underneath or just go with it as long as it isn't totally in your face. I do tend to avoid short skirts unless my norks are covered though, but anything higher than a scoop neck makes me look like a have the biggest double chin in the world!

How about a big necklace to stop you feeling so exposed? Not a drop one that'll be just like a 'look here' sign, but a thick or chunky one to fill the gap?

Or how about one of those silky scarves. They are quite thin and light and I think some girls wear them as hair accessory. I use those when I make the transition winter to/from summer.

I think knee length and covered arms with a bit of cleavage is fine. it's only tarty when you flash leg and cleavage

I'm a G (for gigantic according to my DH ) so I can't do anything except have cleavage.

Depending on occasion. At work, I of course try to avoid it, but as said, V-necks are the most flattering with top-heavy figures. So I have bought tons of cami tops in different colours that I wear under those V-necks - still flattering, but not inappropriately so.

Yes, camis and chunky necklaces definitely the way to go.
