Bought a swimsuit for hols in a few weeks.
I have bikinis but need a suit for snorkelling, swimming with the children etc.

I have long body, pear shaped and no boobs. Size 10 - 12.

this is long enough and has shaped cups, plus the bandeau style balances my hips
but can I carry it off? would you point and laugh?

It's lovely, especially with a bit of a tan. Am really liking the bandeau style.

BulletWithAName · 22/03/2011 12:58

I love vintage style swimwear, it's really nice.

DramaInPyjamas · 22/03/2011 13:02

I love it. It's the sort of thing I am looking for at the moment, so thanks for the link!

cheesesarnie · 22/03/2011 13:05

its lovely!

Pagwatch · 22/03/2011 13:06

Oh good, no snorting and pointing so far.

Tbh it will just be nice to have a suit that I don't have to keep hoiking out of my bum because the body is too short.

Thanks .

Envy at her legs!

I like

Bramshott · 22/03/2011 13:11

It's very nice. I always have something with shorts style legs because my bikini line is like a forest it's much more flattering.

aquavit · 22/03/2011 13:12

only kidding, it's lovely. Though I am also a pear and have found some 'boylegs' a tad unflattering.

So true about the joys of a properly long-bodied cossie though...

FrancesFarmer · 22/03/2011 13:24

It's lovely.

wendihouse22 · 22/03/2011 15:50

Absolutely gorgeous....! I'd wear it but, have you got long limbs? Sometimes, those shorts styleee ones can make you look stumpy. I speak for myself, here.

Desperateforthinnerthighs · 22/03/2011 16:05

Gorgeous - I want one!!! (May well order one, lol so thanks) xx

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 22/03/2011 16:08

Oooh that's lovely, though the model looks deranged.

and wonders if pagwatch remembers her and a long ago waving arrangement.

Hullygully · 22/03/2011 16:09

V nice, Paggy. I like that style meself.

Woodifer · 22/03/2011 16:25

ha i can't look cos it is blocked as lingerie/ swimwear at work

but - depending where you are going/ how strong the sun is - a surfing rash vest can be good for snorkelling (as it can be quite easy to burn your back while you are face down in the water). i wore a rash vest (actually a nylony t-shirt not a vest) and some boardshorts - over whatever bikini/ swimsuit when i went.

so something like

and

I like it, but if you are going to swim a lot and you have big norks, the weight on the halter neck might give you back ache ( voice of experience!) but I have a similar boden one I love for "swimming" with the kids and I love it- saves having to do bikini line too!

talkingnonsense · 22/03/2011 18:07

Sorry missed you saying no boobs! Still good not to have to wax though!

bigTillyMint · 22/03/2011 18:23

I love it.

You have my bodyGrin

noddyholder · 22/03/2011 18:25

I love it and you could wear with little cardi and plimsolls to bat etc and not feel like you are hanging out iykwim

noddyholder · 22/03/2011 18:26

Love that site esp the long dress

Pagwatch · 23/03/2011 10:47

Thanks.
And enjoying prospect of waxing avoidance. I hadn't thought of that. I can take a small comb to at least be neat.

Pagwatch · 23/03/2011 10:54
