Anyone else having problems?

They don't seem to communicate very well, I recall this was also the case with maternity wear when I had some last year.

Sent my package (signed for) ages ago and not a word, also emailed "the girls" to no avail yet. grrr!

I sent some stuff back last week so will be interested to hear what others say. I have proof of postage...

I sent back the wrap dress last week and ordered a smaller size Grin. I think I have the receipt, I did send it recorded delivery.

Me too,i sent some stuff back about 2weeks ago and not yet had refund. I cant find anything on website about timescale. Also emailed and had no reply!

hoxtonchick · 21/03/2011 21:30

i emailed very stroppily & did get a reply.... but the refund took ages. v unimpressive Hmm.

My impression of the 'girls' is that they may be trying hard (to give them benefit of the doubt)but are not anywhere near the professional levele of most Boden staff or similar. Asked advice on what an item looked like today and it was all very vague and amateurish. A shame when they are charging those prices ...

carciofi · 22/03/2011 09:23

I have found them very slow to process returns and had to call to give them a gentle reminder.

Emo76 · 23/03/2011 10:22

UPDATE: Finally got through on the phone today - they checked the warehouse and my goods had indeed arrived (apparently took a week first class signed for for them to turn up in the "warehouse system").

Now that I have contacted them they will process the refund which will take 3-5 working days.

I think this is poor - were they going to leave it until I contacted them before refunding, and how can it take so long? I am not convinced their business is being run on sound lines, I won't be bothering again. Oh, and they can stick their ridiculous Zoolander style catalogue models too!

Sometimes think the most pricy and pretentious online 'niche' retailers are the least efficient. Not only IO, but Anna Scholz, who project themselves as last word in trendy styles for 'plus' sizes, but are not only usually disappointing in RL, but also very laid back about ptocessing returns, even though their things are so ££.

polyhymnia · 06/04/2011 16:19

Another example of IO laid-backness. Phoned at weekend (they say they offer a 24/7 service) to cancel an order as the dress had arrived in another colour and didn't look good on me. A recorded message said they'd ring me back. They didn't so rang them again on Mon. and cancelled. Mid-morning today - 48 hrs.+ later - they rang back! Told them it was a little late.
