I dont know what possessed me. £60 as well. Its tiny and its come in a massive box. I hate that!! now Ive got to go all the way back to the post office with it. Im not happy. this is the second time this week Ive had to send stuff back to Boden cos the size is all wrong.

What a shame. Looks quite nice in the photo. It is expensive though.

yes but, Ive just had to carry the sodding box all the way from the post office. I had a £20 voucher that needed spending. I wouldve lost that now as well unless I find something quick to swop it for!

yes - it has definite granny potential and not sure you could do much to counteract that......unless you are less than 20 years of age and can style it with some gorgeousness from Top Shop.

I just think that about all Boden clothes really. Maybe I should just lose my voucher and buy their denim skirt?

The Avignon jacket looks like old lady Viyella to me. Reminds me of my nan, bless her soul!

Kittya - denim skirt is good value. I have it and have worn it loads (am not particularly "Boden" either but works with lots of different looks as a staple item).

I had my eye on that top in the purle/beige colourway.

Today I retuned the Avignon jacket and asked for a dress in exchange. Dress is out of stock for 6 weeks but will see what it is like- it's the one with the notched neck in blue/beige cotton.

The jacket is doffo not grannyish as it's very fitted- it has 2 seams front and 2 panels at the back too- so anyone who said it was boxy, I don't get that. I found it very nipped-in-waist style.

Only reason for return was it was too small in the 8 and I just wasn't sure if i would wear it that much. If it's in the sale, or I find a special offer ( better than 20%) I will re-order.

The material is slightly odd- rather thick and deffo not like linen to the touch.

I dont think I would have anything to wear with that jacket tbh. Im more of a parka/bf jacket girl.

I do like to their dresses now and again but to be honest, if I look in my wardrobe I have about six Boden Summer dresses from over the years and they all look the same!! I dont see the point of getting another one.

I may as well get a denim skirt.
