My dh's hobby is Retro Magazine, he's just published this latest issue and really values the honest & candid opinions from mumsnet. He has already made a number of changes (hopefully improvements) as a result of your feedback.

Southeastastra & UnrequitedSkink: It is a digital mag (so not in print), at the moment he (we) don't make money from it but Retro is getting around 30,000 readers per issue globally and we hope this will start to get paid ads at some point. As he doesn't get income from it yet we are in a bit of a catch 22 as we'd have to fund the money out of our pocket to pay for an ad sales person unless we could find someone willing and able to work commission only or part-time/low basic. We're hoping it'll get noticed and build from there.

KatharineClifton: thanks for looking through it and taking the time to comment. The images supplied by London Fashion Week (catwalk models) and Louis Vuitton's selection of rising stars (not models) are all slim, however there are other people (also not models) in the mag who may not be seen as conforming to the fashion norm.

I really liked it. It's different and although it's uber cool I do know a few people who would buy it.
