Looking for some nice/trendy tops or t-shirts for dd1 (7), she's a tom boy and likes blue, punk, stripes or spots Grin.

I'm lurking - my DD is 12 and likes NOTHING.

It is driving me to distraction.

I realise she is a different age bracket but I'm up for hijacking any ideas. Grin

Marne - My DD has rejected M&S girls' clothes now (she's at that age!) She says it's too young for her - which would be about right for you.

I think I was quite impressed with it though. Lots of long, drapey t-shirts with leggings etc - nothing too girly.

Try the website?

BTW - Are you the MNer whose cat went missing but was "delivered" home again?

If so - how's he doing?

Peter storm do great T-shirts. Sizing is a bit on the small size though so get a size bigger than you normally would.

Gap do some really nice t-shirts, I have a 15% code (it's an email & print one) if you find anything online that you like?

River Island had some very trendy blue checked Cowboy style shirts in the other day. But I'm not sure if a child would look odd in their clothes. They were very trendy and adult, although not sexy iyswim?

Dd1 likes punk style clothing, but she tends to Google for specific things she has seen i.e 'lips top age 7' 'skull top age 7' etc. we usually find stuff on ebay or amazon that she likes.

Thank you, i have ordered her a couple plain t-shirts from next and will take a look at GAP (we have a outlet store near us) and Zara, she has a couple t-shirts from 'peter storm' which she loves (there trousers are great) and i will keep an eye out on e-bay.

this might be surprising but i found bhs quite good for non-pink clothes. e.g.
