anyone seen a "smart" denim skirt?

Ive had many over the years. At the moment I have loads of tops but lacking in the skirt dept. I cant go too short!

I know i sound silly, but what is a "smart" denim skirt?

Is it this kind of "mummy" skirt?

I think whistles or somebody like that had an OK version - but there are masses of these about at them moment.

What is it with the a-line skirts atm?

Fair enough, some people suit them but some of us just want shortish, straight, dark wash without thigh-widening horizontal faded bits, and not stiff-looking with weird attention-grabbing pockets.

I've been looking for this holy grail for several months, with no luck so far.

Yes I might investigate that one, Clure, but it does look a bit longer than I'd like, and the fabric looks a bit stiff.

Autograph one is vastly better in RL. It's been said many a time on mn - but whoever does the photography for M and S on-line is Not Very Good.

Just to agree Autograph one is pretty good in RL - it was in Grazia (for what that's worth). Didn't have in my size though.

Did anyone like the sandals the model was wearing in the Autograph one?

Its between that and the Next one.
