Post baby hair

So dd is 12 months. When I was pregnant had very luscious thick hair. Post birth it all fell out around the hairline (all the way round). Growing back it looks horrendous. If I wear my hair back I have to kirby grip all the bits that stick out past my ears and all the bits at the top by the parting that stick straight up.
Hate hairbands as they always give me headaches.
So fed up of this now.
Hoping to get pregnant again soon so may be solved by that.
Anyone else had horrible post baby hair regrowth? I seem to be the only one amongst my mum friends!

Yep - I had a hideous fluffy mullet for several months which turned into a ridiculous square shape. It eventually got so spindly that I had to have it cut into a bob. Horrible...

DS is 11 months, I have an inch of regrowth all over my head that sticks straight up. It's very hard to smooth down. Not only that - my poker straight hair has gone very curly just down the back, still poker straight on the sides. Lovely.

I had this after my first and I found this product really good for strengthening my hair again and helping it grow back:

Ummmm, twins are now 2 years and 3 months. I am still waiting for my hair to return to normal!
I have the fluff all around my hairline and I have done nothing but stuggle since I got pregnant...so that almost 3 years of shit hair Sad

Its got to get better at some point!

DD is 10 months and I hate, hate, hate my hair. I have just been looking at old pics and loved how smooth and shiny my hair used to be. I now have an inch of regrowth along my parting that sticks straight up and a tiny little wavy 'fringe' that won't straighten Angry

I'm off to treat myself to some nice new hair products!

Fluffy mullet Grin My DD2 is 12 months, I'm debating shaving my hair off entirely or possibly also amputating my head (with this level of sleep deprivation, nobody will notice the difference). Either choice will vastly improve the appearance of my hair.

I am both heartened by your posts (i'm not the only one) and disheartened (future doesn't appear to hold salon hair for me).
Thanks for link pipcarrier will check that otu.

Boots used to do a post pregnancy range I used after dd but I think it may've stopped. It was part of their experts (or similar) range. Try Ojon from John Lewis. I've been using it for about a month and am a convert.
