My brother is getting married at the end of May. Its quite informal in a small rural hotel - the family have exclusive use over the whole weekend, so should be lovely .... but I'm completly stuck as to what to wear on the main wedding day.
I'm a size 14/16 on top, 16/18 bottom. Hate my legs so don't really want to get them out - and have a horrible tummy that needs to be disguised.
I used to be very into clothes and fashion when I was a student and had quite a quirky style but have completly lost my way recently, and find it really hard to put an outfit together.
I am fair-skinned and have brown hair.
I would prefer separates and want items that I could get a lot of wear out of.
I have a vague image in my head of wide-leg trousers, short fitted jacket, wedge sandals but can't quite fit that together in my head - and not sure if that would fit my body shape. I love this jacket but is it too casual, and I know horizontal stripes are not good if you're bigger.
I also like the idea of a maxi skirt but not sure it that would be smart enough for a wedding.
