bit clunky for my liking.

what are you looking for?

GeorgeEliot · 16/03/2011 20:12

Medium heel, neutral colour, sandal - funky rather than clunky!

i'm a kurt geiger fan.

I love the Hasbeen look and have these which are dead ringers but less than half the price: www.lottafromstockholm.co.uk/high-n-funky

nevergoogle I like the katona ones, but the others don't do anything for me.

Frazzled are you sure the swedish ones are not frumpy - I am old enough to have worn shoes like that in the 70s.

so not frumpy then!

I have some Lottas too. They are a little bit clunkier than Hasbeens but at half the price I can live with that. I just bought a navy pair from Next with a scalloping detail around the toes. £40 and good quality. Sorry no links in rush.

Monty27 · 16/03/2011 20:29

I like the JL but not the Hobbs. But Shock at £££

MrsCampbellBlack · 16/03/2011 20:45

I had hasbeens last year - the same style but higher and wore them loads. Most definitely not frumpy had many many people comment on them - mostly young girls to be honest.

Also have the next version which are good for this summer.

monkeysmama · 17/03/2011 11:19

I've just had a little trying on session and have noticed that the Lottas are leg slimming. I think it may be because the shoe's a little wider than the Next / Hasbeens.

theresapotatoundermysink · 17/03/2011 11:22

The Katona ones are nice.

GeorgeEliot · 17/03/2011 20:32

thanks for the feedback. No-one's very keen on the Hobbs ones then!

I saw these in an email this evening and thought of this thread A little cheaper and I love the colour.

notasgreenasiamcabbagelooking · 17/03/2011 21:52

stillfrazzled or monkeysmama are the Lottas true to size? I'm a 5 and a half and not sure whether to go for a 38 or 39 (I usually size down in sandals).

And are they comfy enough to wear when preggars?

Cheers

stillfrazzled · 17/03/2011 22:03

Yes and yes (I was when I bought them) Smile

I'd get tan rather than natural, though. Mine are natural weave and I'm now coveting tan Hasbeen style...

notasgreenasiamcabbagelooking · 17/03/2011 22:09

Thanks. Think the credit card might coming out. Why do you say to go for the tan not the natural?

stillfrazzled · 18/03/2011 08:26

I just found the natural a bit pale, but it's a preference, not a problem. Btw might be worth checking online for codes, then often do ten ses cent off.

MrsCampbellBlack · 18/03/2011 09:19

Do the natural in the lottas not darken because the hasbeens do a lot.

stillfrazzled · 18/03/2011 13:48

Will dig em out and check Smile
