The code P8JTW can be used on top of the mid-season reductions Wink

do we think its still worth calling up the local stores - they'll carry stock - right??!!!! Smile

KeepCalmAndCurryOn · 17/03/2011 10:16

Ive just returend the lovely stripey "Janice" dress - gutted. Looked lovely at the front with the bias cut and drapey fabric etc BUT stripes were completely horizontal over my butt. NOT a good look. My ass looked enormous : (

Sariska · 17/03/2011 10:52

Definitely call up local stores. It can't hurt, right?

I am now going to try reeeeaaally hard not to buy that stripey blazer that someone (MadameCholet, I think?) linked to on another thread. I need reasons not to buy...... Grin

herecomesthsun · 17/03/2011 10:59

Yes, I have tried on Janice in a couple of her manifestations, but she does me no favours. She is too short for my preference and emphasises my hips and bum (not good). Stripey worse than navy.

Also, I am not sure that she really fits into my life, as I do not really have much opportunity to waft much, either at work (I need to look as if I am focussed) or at home (with toddler in muddy countryside).

Shame, as I would like a cheapo sort of Anglomania dress in a way.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 17/03/2011 11:30

Excellent thanks! Shamrock

OhCobblers · 17/03/2011 13:50

Euphemia thats beyond nice of you Grin, however, a previous thread i started on the Stripey Janice threw up comments from MNetters that make me think i really must "try before buy" !!

thanks v much though.

OhCobblers · 17/03/2011 13:53

KeepCalm i don't suppose you know if that code can be used instore do you?
TIA

SarkyLady · 17/03/2011 14:01

anything else good there at the moment?

I can't see much TBH.

KeepCalmAndCurryOn · 17/03/2011 14:28

It does say in store on the e-mail I got, but there is no form or voucher to fill in, just the code.

Not working for me for some reason :( If I put the code in the box and click update it disappears and the amount stays the same....

KeepCalmAndCurryOn · 17/03/2011 17:01

Maybe they've cottoned on ... It only worked on the mid-season sale items, not the other sale things.

KeepCalmAndCurryOn · 17/03/2011 17:14

Are you sure there isn't a deduction underneath, just above the postage? I tested it kust now and it worked for me ...

lilaloves · 17/03/2011 17:52

I nearly returned my stripe "janice" for the same reason.

But I then tried it with a longline fineknit black cardigan, worn open, this covers up unflattering rear view but you can still see stripes from front view

did that make any sense?Smile

withagoat · 17/03/2011 18:13

have janice in blue
the stripe is not as nice imo

SarkyLady · 17/03/2011 19:26

I love them both but would love them more if they were longer.

Gillybobs · 17/03/2011 20:21

lilaloves That does make sense, its just I felt it was too much money not to be able to wear it on its own, so sad as its gorgeous from the fromt : (

OhCobblers · 18/03/2011 16:40

cannot believe it - called a local shop who had my size - went and tried it on - complete disaster Sad.

it looks terrible on me - admittedly i've got a half a stone few lbs to lose but the grey janice i have looks fab on - this most certainly doesn't.

next .............
