Pregnant, tight budget and 4 weddings this Spring/Summer. Help!

We have 4 sets of close friends getting married this year. Starting at the end of May and continuing to the end of September (this on in Brittany). I will be almost 20 weeks pregnant with DC 2 for the first wedding and 34 weeks for the last. All couples getting married know each other very well and guest lists for all weddings are pretty similar (except for family of course)

I am also severely style-disabled and live very rurally so never see anything stylish/fashionable whilst all the couples are trendy London folk (with large dual incomes). I will probably have to buy on-line , given our remoteness and since I won't be drinking and staying up late enjoying the party like everyone else I would at least like to look as brilliantly ravishing as possible for a pregnant woman Grin

My favourite maternity wear is by far Isabella Oliver and so far I quite like this

I needed all the support I could get when pregnant as my boobs sprouted alarmingly, so that would have ruled out a one shouldered number!

MummyBerryJuice · 16/03/2011 12:24

Hmm... hadn't thought of that!

I had similar wedding dilemma when pg. I bought the Isabella Oliver pink ruffle wrap dress for £40 on Ebay. It was an absolutely gorgeous dress, perfect for a wedding and hung really nicely on a pg form (even up to 38 weeks). Had lots of lovely comments about the dress and one fab girl said her first thought was 'ooooh....glam!' and then noticed I was actually hugely pg - and that was the 38 week wedding!

Best part was re-sold the dress for £45 on Ebay!

Might be worth a look at Ebay - or look at Ebay for the prices you could re-coup if you sold it after all the weddings.

What about this? Sorry haven't worked out how to link!

It's a little casual giddy. (Also maxis really don't suit me)
