I used it last week and it was ok. Have since noticed that I have quite a lot of hair breakage which I hadn't npticed before, so would be interested to hear if you notice anything similar.

Ooh hope not, eek!!

I used it about 3 weeks ago - didn't notice much colour difference (I was trying to go a shade blonder), and have noticed that my hair seems to be dryer and breaking easily too

not that impressed really. I did like the mousse application, thought that was good, but was expecting better results. as it is, I'll need to get my hair cut, it just looks and feels so dry, despite using hair masks and moroccan oil...

i used it a couple of weeks ago, I really liked the colour and was impressed wiht how shiney my hair looked. i haven;t noticed any breakage at all.
But the colour faded really fast, in fact after two washes my hair is now a dull mousey brown rather than the shiney chestnut locks that i had after dying.
I was covering up growing out highlights that I no longer have the time to keep up. I have the money but no time to sit in a hairdresser chair for 4 hours plus. I work full time and have 4 children.
So back to nice and easy ten minute one for me.

Hmm, well it's a bit darker than I anticipated, despite only going for a medium golden brown, it's quite dark.

Pretty time consuming too so think I'll stick with my normal one, Perfect 10!

Ah well...

I used it 2 weeks ago and its already faded. I wasn't impressed

aquavit · 16/03/2011 12:24

I used it a few weeks ago and I went for light golden brown. Admittedly I have pretty blonde hair naturally (it was just highlighted before) so the colour was likely to take quite heavily...but it went VERY dark plummy red! Then faded, rather quickly, to a dark reddish brown. It was a nice colour but nothing like packet suggested.

Also, I thought the application was awful, took ages to pump the mousse out (I got bored and stopped before I used the whole lot) and I found it at least as drippy as non-mousse formulations.

So I recoloured with Nutrisse: much better formulation, but despite trying again for a light golden brown I'm still fairly dark gingery brown - if anyone has any tips for getting to a nice caramel-y colour I'd be very grateful!

Havingkittens · 16/03/2011 14:13

I was intrigued by this as my OH is always spotting the odd splash of dark brown dye on our white bathroom walls so interesting to see aquavit's comment about it being just as drippy.

The other thing that put me off was that I couldn't see how you would go about doing your roots.

I'll stick to my Castings I think. I did it this week and managed not to make any mess at all. I just have to remember not to do it just before my period when I seem to be at my clumsiest!

berri · 16/03/2011 15:04

Hmm weird, I wouldn't have said it was drippy at all, but then I guess my hair is a long bob so perhaps on shorter hair it would be.

It definitely didn't flick around the bathroom as much as normal.

BUT my hair is definitely not as shiny as when I've used the Perfect 10 one.

It does smell much nicer than normal though, the Perfect 10 colour is good but it stinks a bit for the next day.

When I tried the Nutrisse one my hair was so tangled I was nearly in tears trying to comb it afterwards!
