hello, I like LOADS of things in the new pure collection catalogue, but have never bought anything there.

I am a size 12-14 (14 can be boxy and baggy on me. have 34c bust), and really don't know which size to order as I don't know if their things tend to come up big or small.

Any advice greatly appreciated!

also, am I making a mistake buying with them? Some of their stuff seems targeted at...ahem...older ladies? (ie over the knee jeans skirts Shock)...should I just step back?????!!!!! am almost 40.

Would agree with you on the more mature lady level but.... got a little leaflet thingy in the Sunday Times and flicked through. Thought it expensive and old fashioned until I came across a blouse I liked.

It's jersey and fits beautifully and looks far more expensive than the £29 it cost.

I bought three cropped cardigans from them recently - there was a 25% discount in one of the leaflets they insert into magazines, so I think each one was about £60.

I was so incredibly disappointed - really poor quality cashmere, it's really thin and basically just looks like merino wool. It hasn't bobbled yet so I suppose that's something. I didn't bother to return them as I did like the cut and colours I chose, but I won't be buying from them again.

My cropped Brora cardigans are gorgeous cashmere but they're four times the price and I just can't justify the expense in these lean times.

This was the one I bought - in Ash, Pacific (stunning colour) and the orange in the photo. They were £75, I see Sad.

I bought 2 merino roll necks back in November in a 12. I'd say I'm a 10-12 normally, and they are fine to wear with skinny jeans. If I was buying them to wear with skirts I would have bought a 10. I also have a short jacket. Bought a 12, but possibly should have got a 10. Similar to M&S sizing I'd say.
I think their stuff is really good quality, and if you choose well, not frumpy at all Wink.
