One Dress - 3 occasions.....

Hi,
Have a 40th party, a 50th party and black tie do this year (so far) and want ONE dress to cover all occasions.

I have seen this one (hope link works)- what do you think ? I'm not sure it will do the black tie one.

Just for those who need to know - am 6ft tall, size 16-18, v fair skinned, brown hair , blue eyes...

You would need to dress it up a lot I would think for the black tie do but a serious hairdo and loads of slap and bling might carry it off

I'm really not a fancy frock type of girl and thought this was a good compromise... I may have to get fake baked though

I am taking advantage of an unexpected bonus this month ! I am justifying it because I can wear it on 3 occasion ...naturally will need to accessorise it !

I think it could look a bit bulky if you have norks or are at all short-waisted (though you are v tall so maybe not?). It's quite expensive for polyester too.

Whistles usually have similar colours to that but with v necks and in silk - maybe worth a look?

I do like it though.
