Which shoes/boots with Gap Curvy Jeans i.e. bootcut -<shiver>

Ladies

I need your advice. Recently had a session with a Gap Personal Stylist. Had lost confidence in my ability to choose what suited my shape and found it quite helpful.

However... been wearing straight leg, low rise jeans for the longest time. I have a sticky-outy bottom, so don't feel that skinny jeans suit me unless worn with a long top/knee high flat boot combo.

Stylist pointed me in the direction of their new fabric Curvy Jeans. I turned my nose up at the high waist and gentle bootcut legs, but she insisted I tried them. They looked amazing on. Really flattered my shape. But I am now struggling with footwear. Ballet flats seem to look a bit odd. I have heels a-plenty that will look fine for a smart casual look, or going out, but what I need are some everyday low heels that I can walk comfortably in. I'm thinking brown/tan ankle/shoe boots, but I'm quite new to the shoe boot phenomenon. I love my grey Radley shoe boot wedges from Kurt Geiger but they are too high (and special) for everyday trudging and my everyday colour would be brown or tan.

Anyone seen anything or have anything they could recommend??

I have Gap curvy jeans and they are cut quite wide at the bottom of the leg

I wear with converse when it gets a bit warmer and some clompy heeled brogues at other times

I think the shoe has to have some substance . I also wear my desert wedges with them

I think a flatter smaller shoe like a ballet flat would look ok as long as top goes, eg a floatier sort of blousey thing

Thanks cyb

I like the sound of clompy brogues. Saw some flat ones in Office at the weekend which were nice but wouldn't go, but chunkier heels would...

Are your desert wedges comfortable to walk in? I have coveted for a while but, for the ones that I have seen, always thought the wedge was too high for every day

I've worn them with ballet flats. Don't know if I was stylish, but I don't think I looked weird.

They are good jeans, aren't they?

They are great jeans - I did not recognise my own arse! Although mine are the new ones without the flap-style pockets. My bum couldnt cope with those!

I will revisit the ballet pumps....

Do these jeans come with shorter leg lengths, ie 30in?

With my other bootcuts I wear caterpillar style boots in winter (but dark brown) and in summer I wear ballet flats or birks.

Converse would also work but they don't fit my feet...

herewith a block heel.

here perfect for everyday.

here for a good all rounder short boot.
