I have been lucky enough to be given a voucher for The Sanctuary but i might have to go on my own possibly, so just wondering if it's relaxed or would i feel a bit out of place sitting alone?
Any recommendations for great treatments would also be appreciated!

Try and get a friend to go with you if your voucher is for an evening or weekend as it's full of groups of people at those times and you might feel a bit uncomfortable on your own. During the week in the daytime, it's fairly empty so you'll be fine on your own.
Have fun!

The sleep poddy thing is good and quite zen
Book treatments before you go as its really busy
Magazine selection is crap so bring a book
I went with a gaggle of giggly wimmin though so was probably very annoying drunk

I used to go on my own in the 80s. It was very new and lush then, and full of off-duty business women. There were never any drunken hen parties.

Nobody wore swimsuits either - we just let it all hang out. It was very interesting to see the variety of female bodies liberating.

I go every year with my Mum for a girly day. Don't know when you last went thunderbolt but it has been done up a lot. I think it was about 2-3 years ago they had a huge fire and had to close and do a refurb.

I love it and I'm a spa junkie so I've been to a fair few and it wins hands down for me. Much as I love my Mum, I would LOVE to go alone - lucky you :)
