What colour tights?

I have finally bought a few skirts for work after 20 years of only wearing trousers Blush. Been sat in my wardrobe for about 9 months and decided now is the time to try them as the weather is brightening up a bit.

I've got a couple of knee length/just below the knee from Monsoon. Can't find them online (bought last year!), but one is brown with a geometric brown and cream pattern, other is grey with blue/red/grey flower pattern.

What colour tights should I wear? Warning: going without is NOT on option.

Should I stick to 'nude' or go with a colour which 'goes with' a skirt?

Help. I'm used to black trousers and flat boots.

oooh where to start

Brown n Creamn - always try brown opaques or cream opaques. Standard fall back would be black.

Grey skirt - some really cute grey tights about at the mo, at least 40d.

Or you could go the other extreme and go for a bold colour.

My advice, experiment! Tights are cheaper than shoes and skirts!

Thanks for the reply! Will try grey for the grey skirt and take it from there.

EXperiment!? It's taken me 20 years to ditch the trousers - and only because I read a thread on here about black trousers and 'mum boots'. It made me depressed! Grin
