I need dresses/tunic tops (??) anyone seen any nice ones around?

My wardrobe needs its bi-annual renewal and I am in desperate need of some stuff to wear with leggings or skinny jeans with boots and hopefully soon ballet flats.

I am a 16/18, 5ft 6, large of nork, big hips + thighs. Curvy. Olivey skin, brown hair, blue eyes.

I'm thinking high street rather than designer prices. Has anyone seen anything? I hate shopping - find it confusing and depressing!

Also, in the White Stuff sale site you will have lots of gorgeous tunic tops reduced to 30%-50%. Many of the larger sizes are still available.

Ooh have just looked at the white stuff site, I like a lot of their things so I may well be tempted to order if they are having a sale. How are they size wise? Do you think with me being big of boobs I should size up? Have never ordered from them before.

I haven't been in Peacocks for ages and we have a big new one mearby now so I will definitely have a look.

Re sizing, White Stuff are notorious in terms of poor attention to sizing. I have items ranging from size 10 to size 14 and I'm a size 12. It drives you mad, but the clothes are gorgeous so it is worth persevering.

As a rule of thumb, I find that:

• T-shirts are true to size (so size 12 for me)
• Tunics and skirts tend to be larger, so order one size down.
• Slim-fit cardigans can be too slim, so I sometimes find you need to get one size up.

I hope I'm not putting you off! The main thing to remember is that you can return any items you don't like for free and you get a full refund. It is very straight forward to do the returns, so it means you can order a few items, see what you think of them, return what you don't want, etc. Delivery is super fast: I ordered some clothes yesterday and they came through the post this morning!

Mosaica, is it 20% of everything or just some items, also do you know it's in store and online, or just one of them?

net book it's off everything - online you need to use the code ZAP in store you need a voucher they posted to customers - not sure what happens if you just turn up

Thanks ChocChip. I really have no will power, said I wasn't going to buy anything for the summer but here I am, seeing bargains, unable to control myself!

I have put a couple of things in my basket, do know whether they will still be there tomorrow? Wondering if I will have to add them again.
