Dd1 has an inset day and I've just bleached her hair with the XXL stuff. It's turned her (natural) roots a brilliant platinum blonde, but has barely changed the colour of the rest of her (dyed) hair at all, which is now a middle shade of brown Shock I don't think school are going to be very happy about this.

What do I do? Emergency dash the hairdresser?

Try the caca brun henna dye from Lush. I'll find a link...

here

I had very blonde highlights which i was growing out, and after using this my hair went a gorgeous dark brown colour. The instructions recommend breaking it into 3 lots of 2 chunks and dying it 3 nights in a row for the best results and that's what i did. looked gorgeous and faded very gradually (totally natural too, if that's a concern).

If you want to actually get her hair blonde i'm not so sure what you should do...

Oh blimey, we've used that one before, it turned her hair green!

I'm off to see if I can find a rare hairdresser that is open on a monday Shock
