Freya/Panache/Fantasie etc sizing

Was told in both Rigby & Peller and Bravissima that I'm a 32F and have always worn Panache but feel like a change.

Tried some Freya bras on today as they're just so much less mumsy, but needed a 30FF. Not sure whether this is down to a bit of weight loss or whether the sizes vary.

Does anyone have any idea whether Freya are always different? I'm still wearing 32F in Autograph, the only other brand I really like and I'd like to have an eBay binge once I'm sure I'm buying the right size, as they're not cheap! Live in the sticks so it's a bit of a palaver getting to the shops to try them all on.

Hope someone can help......

Freya/Fantasie generally come up bigger in the band than Panache and their sister brand Masquerade. Plunge styles tend to fit smaller than fuller cup styles, yet bras without an underband (e.g Panache Harmony) fit more loosely.

Even within the same brand, you can find significant differences in band and/or cup sizes so if you're going to buy from ebay, make sure the seller accepts returns.

IMO, jeans, shoes and bras should not be bought without trying on.

Post more or PM me if you need more specifics, it's my field Smile

Mind you Freya have a few styles & I find as long as I buy the more retro looking one I'm OK but not the balconette (iyswim)

Yes, I had to go up a cup size with Freya bras. I do like them though.

For a short but painful moment , I thought this was a baby names thread ...

Just snorted very loudly, now need to explain to DDs (Panache and Rigby) exactly why Wink

Thanks everyone, may have to trek into the real world for more trying on. Had just regained a bit of body confidence then lost the lot standing topless in a fitting room......

PS Married, a special thanks - I do hope you weren't the poor assistant in the cubicle with me this afternoon. Think she was losing the will to live!

I cause that feeling in assistants too; I am apparently the wrong shape

I find variability even in the same brand. I have a lot of Freya bras it isn't always the same size that fits me best. You really need to try them on before buying.

It wasn't me- I have infinite patience with my customers as I am not easy to fit myself.

Nor do I work in the aforementioned store that expects you to be comfortable topless Hmm

I find Freya bikinis v small
