Was going to say Tweezerman too.

Motherjack (or anyone else) - have you ever had yours sharpened? All the instructions I have seen tell me to send them to Texas. [hmmm] I feel there should be somewhere closer.

MotherJack · 13/03/2011 14:19

No, I haven't CL... just been upstairs to check the address and I have a Texas one too.

BelligerentGhoul · 13/03/2011 14:23

Gotta be Tweezerman. But I think mine are getting a bit blunt - is there anything I can do about that?

BelligerentGhoul · 13/03/2011 14:24

Ah - sorry - just seen the Texas thing! No other options?

eileenslightlytotheleft · 13/03/2011 14:55

Have ordered!

I might take the plunge and send mine off to be sharpened if anyone could give me the address in Texas? I wonder how much the postage would be?

Mine are now about 10 years old - packaging long gone.

soppypreggyloon · 13/03/2011 15:41

its actually new york as they've moved (just checked online)

here

it takes 4-6 weeks, you have to send them in an insured padded envelope and may take 2 weeks longer due to the relocation.

i think if i was without mine for 6-8 weeks i'd have re-grown my spiky caterpillars that prompted the need for tweeezers in the first place! Grin

i'd just buy a replacement!

celticlassie · 13/03/2011 15:52

Could do a tweezers relay though, buy new ones while originals are being sharpened and keep them going back and forward to keep them perfectly sharp. Grin

Might be a bit embarrassed to send them away though because they have doublewear foundation welded on. I tried to use them to get the dregs out of the bottle once Blush and now it won't come off.

Another vote here for tweezerman, I couldn't be without mine.
