Good eye make-up remover? URGENT help needed

Please could somebody recommend a really good eye make-up remover. I started using (stupidly) Maybelline Falsies mascara and nothing will shift it! My eyelashes have gone hard and are a bit sore :(

I don't mind paying a bit more for a good quality one, I normally wear lancome waterproof mascara so it would need to budge the waterproof stuff too. Any suggestions gratefully received!

2/3 oil (baby, almond, olive)
1/3 rosewater and glycerine

soak a cotton wool pad in the above mixture press it lighlty to your eye for a minute, without much rubbing it should get nearly everything off with a few sweeps

Lancome is the best I've used

Estee Lauder take it away cleanser removes even waterproof mascara and you can buy it as a pump or impregnated in to little cloths which are great for holidays. My teen DD steals mine all the time.

I second the Boots Botanics. I won't use anything else - it's by far the best I've ever used.

Liz Earle's eye lotion is fabulous and always shifts all of my waterproof mascara. A little goes a long way too.

I use the Clinique take the day off and find it works but might just invest in some baby shampoo next time!

I second what Otch said about skincare (I know a lot of dermatologists as well) - many fancy things are money down the drain. I use baby oil for removing all kinds of longwearing makeup products. This one is lovely. It's my DD's but I discovered by accident how fab it is when I had run out of everything else Smile

Yes to the baby oil for really stubborn mascaras, but you've done that now. For future reference I find Clarins blue remover the best as it has a very light oil in it (you need to shake it well to mix it) but it soaks mascara off gently without needing to pull or srub at the eye area.

Clinique 'take the day off' every time. Best I've tried.

For waterproof mascara, you need to get it off with oil (or strong chemicals). I just use olive oil if ever I wear w/proof.

But for everyday, another vote for the Body Shop Camomile EMR. The liquidy stuff, not the gel. Have worked on cosmetic brands in the past and got posh stuff for free, but I ALWAYS remain loyal to this!

Sorry but WATERPROOF BADGERS! Ha!
