Do you mean Saturday tomorrow? Or Saturday week?

Can you give us any idea of budget, size, etc?

inkyfingers · 11/03/2011 20:06

If you've no time and no ££ then get your bestest dress out and scrub up with a blowdry and makeup.

Emo76 · 11/03/2011 20:06

How tall are you - 8 stone sounds very slim! Have you got anything in your wardrobe which you could wear, maybe with different accessories? Whatever you do don't go for a pastel suit!

Saturday week. I really have nothing!
I'm a size 10, 5f5, I guess max £80??? THANK-YOU!!!

I have a joules dress very similar to this

but its so cold.....nothing to go with it. Its a church service first then a very relaxed venue afterwards

Try a personal shopper at John Lewis. They have loads of different brands and staff are good and should understand budget/tastes etc. Get a dress that will go with jacket, shoes, wrap that you already have. That way £80 will go further. What about a friend/sister similar size who you could borrow from if nothing else.

White Stuff have a 20% off day next Thursday instore. Nice, but maybe not smart enough?

Emo76 · 11/03/2011 20:43

How about this topshop long sleeved dress with some opaque tights and dark shoes. Perhaps you could wear a hairband like this You could probably find one similar for less. A long sleeved dress gets you out of needing a jacket.

That dress is lovely, wobbly.

Do you have a cardi that will go with it?

La Redoute has a big sale on atm, and Next does fast delivery.

Flower jobby in hair, job's a good 'un. (Try accessorize.)

celticlassie · 12/03/2011 23:47

I love this and this.

whoneedssleepanyway · 13/03/2011 06:35

Wow some fab dresses here well within budget.

Abitwobbly my faves are the topshop dress Emo suggested, or the botanical print oasis dress that both Fox and Celtic suggested (have seen this in RL v pretty) and also the other Oasis dress Celtic suggested. All those are lovely.

note to self - hide credit card I do not need any more dresses - am v tempted by some of these

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/03/2011 12:28
