Converse with skirts / dresses

Now we've moved house I'm walking a lot more so need to wear flats more.

I'm more of a skirt / dress wearer than jeans, so need lovers of Converse to tell me what kind of skirts I can wear with my (low) converse.

I'm thinking shirt dresses / denim skirts might be ok?

Or am I making a terrible sartorial error? And am I too old at 41 to wear Converse? Or is that more in keeping with the muttony not mumsy Mumsnet rule? Grin

This is such a tricky one - they are so unflattering to wear with dresses or skirts - you could try buying the low cut ones and they don't look as bad IMO. Smile

You are too old for Converse.

No need for me to answer any further questions here Grin

I wear them with a denim skirt and tights. I chuck on some legwarmers to blend it all in. Always been very random with my dress sense though Grin
