Can anyone help me find a retro "sheath style" swimsuit?

A bit likethis one but that doesn't cost £60? Doesn't have to be in the cherry pattern, it's the sheath style I'm after. Was thinking more like around the £20 mark.....

this comes in pink or black but its strapless. If you are a 12 there is one like you link on ebay
or this maybe?

FauxFox · 11/03/2011 17:50

your link

RightUpMyRue · 11/03/2011 18:47

Ooh, thank you Faux. Unfortunately I haven't been A 12 for a while Sad more like 14-16 post children, hence the sheath costume and not a bikini!

I like the shape of the one from very but the pattern is pretty ghastly. Not sure about strapless, boobs a bit big.

Very has a variety of things they call a swimdress not quite the same but still quite flattering?

RightUpMyRue · 11/03/2011 19:08

I think the more flarey ones are bit frumpy but don't mind the slimmer fit.

Thank you, again.

Marks and Spencers do one that is a bodyshaper and it's the EXACT same (only not cherries) as the one you pictured.

I think I paid about £30 for it last year in red.

Oh here's the link

Mine was a halterneck-that's the only difference but I think it's better having the proper straps if you're large of nork.

Although I think it looks the same as a halterneck from the front

RightUpMyRue · 11/03/2011 22:11

Thank you bethel, I like that one very much.

In fact, I've just ordered an Identical one from Simplybe. I'll see what it's like and if it's no good I'll pop over to M+S and get that one.

OOh does that M&S one have boob support?

RightUpMyRue · 11/03/2011 23:57

It says it's padded so I'm assuming they mean in the cup area. Might not be very structured support but something is there I think.

The m&s one has light support- no wiring. I've never fallen out of it so it can't be too bad Wink

moragbellingham · 12/03/2011 09:05

I like that ebay one - but why would an item be "new" without tags. Would anyone buy a swimsuit without tags on ebay?

I find that anything without wires needs to have a very decent support band underneath the boobs. Not worried about falling out, more falling down!
M&S looks pretty structured.

RightUpMyRue · 12/03/2011 10:46

I bought this one last night, before the M+S was linked too. I like the look of it but find the weight of my norks in a halter neck quite a toll on my neck. It'll probably be going back and the M+S one bought instead.
