I need a waterproof mascara. I've yet to find one that doesn't run. Help!

So I've tried Clinique, No. 7, Maybelline, Rimmell waterproof mascaras. All of them run, even though I don't use any on my lower lashes. (I found the best one was Clinique, but it's far from perfect.) Can anyone recommend a truly waterproof mascara? I'm willing to spend £££ if it works.

did you try the Clinique lash power? I've a real problem with mascara running and it's fine. Or there's Kanebo 38C (Harrods only now).

Both of these never run, only crumble if you rub your eyes a lot, and need very warm water to shift them.

Max Factor Masterpiece - it's the ONLY mascara I've come across that doesn't run in the slightest (the waterproof one, obvs), and as an added bonus it's also the only mascara that I'll ever buy again simply because it makes my lashes look SO long without being remotely clumpy.

Every now and again, I'll get tempted to the dark side by a new product on the market/special offer on something different, and every time I come running back to my Max Factor!

Second the rec for Max Factor Masterpiece waterproof version. I find that sometimes it flakes just a tiny bit but it doesn't smudge or run at all even when my eyes stream. And as NoWay says its a good mascara in its own right (I like it almost as much as the nonwaterproof version) regardless of the waterproof thing.

Do you use eyecream? If there are any traces of anything oil-based on your lashes when you put on your mascara, even waterproof will run. Worth mentioning!

Dior Diorshow waterproof. I even wore it on holiday and it didn't run.
