I have a very fitted Joan-esque dress which will benefit from a, um, completely smooth silhouette.

I'm after something which will go down to my thighs and also cinch in the waist. I guess over-shoulder would be best to stop it rolling down, but I don't want anything which will go taut at the waist, due to the shoulders.

Any ideas?

I know you said you want something that will go to your thighs and I have one of those but I get far more wear out of this one. i'm petite (5ft1) and it comes to my fanjo the top of my legs.

Ooh, that looks brilliant. But it is actually the tops of my thighs which are letting this dress down, more than anything, unfortunately.
