I used to use it as a teenager 20 odd years ago - any one else?

Chatting with someone today and they said it was easy to use a cleanser as you don't need special trip to the bathroom for washing etc.

Brought back memories - I might try it again as I used to have lovely skin! But then - it was 20 years ago!

I saw this in Superdrug the other day and it took me back to being a teenager. The only thing that put me off is it used to sting sometimes...but if you liked it why not give it a go?

I use to love Anne French I might get some when I am back in the UK, I also like the original Nivea cleanser in the dark blue bottle.

I used Anne French in my late teens. I bought some recently (mainly for sentimental reasons, the smell makes me feel 16 again). I think it's fine to use it twice a week as a deep cleanser - it really gets the muck and make-up off my face and I still enjoy seeing how much I can get off on to the cottonwool pad. I certainly wouldn't use it everyday as I think it's too harsh and drying for the more mature skin.

My mum still uses it. She lives in France and stocks up when she comes home. She has very sensitive eyes and says this is the one cleanser that doesn't sting her eyes. I can almost smell it, just thinking about it now!
