best mascara - and has Rimmel changed or did I get a duff one?

A few years ago I did an extensive mascara trawl - including all the expensive ones. I like mine to go on moist, to separate, and absolutely no clumps. I concluded that, slightly to my suprise, Rimmel was the best - and have been using it happily ever since. but my latest one is sticky and clumpy. so - anyone else noticed this? and/or anyone else have recommendations? thanks you dears.

Max factor masterpiece is good for doing what you want.

I'm still mourning the discontinuation of max factor lashfinity - it was mega waterproof and used to hold the lashes like a perm. I find all others don't keep the lashes curled up like that one did.

I use extra super lash mascara by Rimmel and haven't had any problems recently....maybe just a dodgey one.

I did like you tried all the expensive ones and concluded Rimmel the best.

thanks - maybe it was just a dodgy one. seeing as it's cheap I'll get another - rather than starting another trawl.

Got the Rimmel one....lash extension.

Dreadful....ends up all over the place and a nasty little scratchy brush. Waste of money.

Can second the Avon Super Shock mascara in black. Good stuff.
