What's in your handbag?

My handbag seems to carry everything but the kitchen
sink these days, baby wipes, muslin cloth, spare dummies, guess purse, Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream, benefit coralista blusher, maybelline mascara, angel perfume, house keys, car keys, glasses, contact lens case. The list is endless. What do you ladies keep in yours? Any tips on how to streamline mine?

Nothing exciting, but not as much as you . Right, I've just tipped it up and the following fell out -

I read somewhere about an artist in France who draws the contents of womans bags - he has done lots of famous peoples and apparently can tell if something has been added for the occassion. I would love such a sketch.

I think I'd have to update my handbag from my tatty Primarni one before she painted mine though! :)

these bag organiser things are brilliant. I have a similar one, it's great for finding things easily and for switching from one bag to another without forgetting anything.

I dare not write this down!

Make up bag - big one so handcream fits in it.

Glasses case.

Little purse containing plasters, paracetamol, calpol sachets, etc.

Pencil case containing pens and a few bits I feel necessary to carry around with me.

Purse.

Keys.

Phone.

Diary (Tescos - has butterflies on).

Today I have a smaller bag than usual as am going out this evening, which has:

Normally I carry all this in a messenger bag along with at least one book, about a dozen lipglosses, glasses, mini umbrella, at least one article I'm reading/editing, and another dozen hair bands; or I carry a nappy bag with nothing of my own in it other than wallet, phone, keys.
