Hi ladies,
I'm 33 with 3 children, the youngest of which is 15wks.
I have a school reunion coming up and a Venture photo session too..... HELP !
I am desperately trying to lose my baby weight so have been going to SW and have so far lost over a stone, yet I am still 11st 11.5oz.
So, the vital stats are :
Age - 33
Height - 5'6"
Weight - just under 12 stone
Size - 14ish
Bust - HUGE !! Wearing 34G nursing bras but not quite contained !!!!!!!
Hair - Blonde, shoulder length

Anyway please, please can you give me ideas of what I can buy to wear for the reunion as I am currently living in 2 pairs of jeans and baggy tops.

Thanks and fingers crossed.

p.s. not got a budget, just need to get something that'll make me feel good !!

hi there.
you sound in great shape for someone with a 15 week old baby!
anyway there was a thread on here at the weekend showing some whistles dresses that are mega flattering esp if you have a chest! i have the blue one that was linked as its for a wedding but also loved the animal print one. Honestly try one out, they are really great! the thread was called something like 'flattering dress for a generous 14' or something like and was in style and beauty. good luck!

thanks dinkydoos, I'll have a search for that.

I don't even have a clue what shapes to go for ! Hopeless I am !!

What about something from bravissimo to fit properly?

Gillybobs · 09/03/2011 21:14

I think this looks like it would be really forgiving and the colour is lovely. Id wear it with footless tights and high shoe boots

just had a look at bravissimo site, they have some lovely things on there fauxfox, I can see an outing to mcr coming up !

Not sure if that purple dress is a bit too trendy for me gillybobs, the colour is lovely and I do lke it but think I'm a bit old Blush

Eh? Im 37 and would def wear it, Mint Velvet is aimed at 30s/40s age group. You are certainly NOT too old at 33!!! Goodness me!

gforgiraffe · 09/03/2011 22:07

Oops sorry gillybobs, I'm just lacking lots of confidence. I've never been particularly fashionable, maybe I just need to go for it ! DH very supportive by the way, it's always me who goes for easy / boring / cover up options.

Honestly, you are so young, make the most of it! My sisters are 32 and 35 and everything they wear is from Topshop or Zara. Looking at your info above I'd say get yourself some fantastic spanx and a decent bra and go for it. You will look amazing. Either footless tights or leggings underneath and some nice shoe boots like these

ps. I find a spray tan and a blow dry gives me a real confidence boost.
