I found the best summer trousers/chinos for £9.99.....

I must stop going out, I bought these chino's today from H&M, £9.99, in all three colours... they are cotton but have an immense amount of stretch for the money..

I am thinking turned up with breton T and flats....

Oh I saw those today and thought they were very similar to my new look ones of last summer which having examined at the weekend will do this summer too.

Think will have to venture instore to buy as none online.

I saw someone today wearing the stripey top that they styled the trousers with and thought I'm going to have to get that.
Now I'll end up with the outfit for under £20!

morag instore they have really good breton T's too, with buttons on shoulder and cuffs, for £12.99, again I bought Navy/white and Tan/cream stripe...they will all mix and match really well. Again, they're not online though...:(

mrscampbellblack I have those new look ones as well, the bum goes a bit saggy on mine though, hoping as these have more strecth it won't happen..

I also have the bretons - lovely! And they wash really well [sounds like own mother]

oooh, am liking the sound of the tan/cream breton.

I have 3 of theirs already - slate & white, tan & black and white with navy stripe. They had them in last year too. I have finally bought a replacement for the white & navy I had last year and can honestly say it is the first item of clothing in years that I have properly worn out, as opposed to getting bored of it. They are very well made and keep their shape despite repeated wash & wear.

I have these chinos in the red colour - LOVE them. And they are really flattering too.

I thought the red would look hideous dairymoo but when I put them on they were really fabulous, and as you say suprisingly flattering..

I'd say pretty true to size.

I found them variable to say the least.

I'm a 10/12 and so bought the 12s in brown and navy to be safe (toddlers preventing any trying on). They are roomy in the brown and extremely roomy in the navy. Now I have to trudge back to return and get the 10's so think you have to try on!

do you think you need very slim thighs to carry these off?

Bought these today- they are fabulous, so flattering on the legs and bum. I had to size down which is pretty rare in H&M for me. My thighs are def not my best bit (I am a pear) and they are prob the only chinos I've tried on in cream/brown that don't make them look bigger. Bought the red too. Love the colour.

Oh that is just exactly what I'm after!

They had some similar ones on the Boden website, but I'm not prepared to pay £200 or whatever Boden charges. More of a £9.99 girl meself.

Hope I can track down a pair....

For those ladies who have managed to get a pair of the red chinos...what colour of flats would you wear with them? I only have red or black, and not sure that either would work particularly well!
