haven't started pelvic floor exercises yet!

My daughter is 4 weeks old and I just haven't managed to fit in regular pelvic floor exercises! I didn't have any stitches and was in quite good shape beforehand and I know I should be doing them but every night as I slump into bed I realise I've forgotten to do them again!

Should I push this to the top of my priority list ? (after DD of course!) or will they sort themselves out when I resume pilots in a couple of weeks?

I've not done any, and my pelvic floor still fine after 2 births...
don't know what pilots is? do you mean pilates? that's pretty good for pelvic floor i think.

You make it sound like a strenuous workout!! You can do them in bed when you remember, or when watching telly, feeding your DD, eating dinner etc.

Could you wear a bracelet or something to remind you?

I had 2 children 17 months apart -smallish babies, easy deliveries and no stitches. I never bothered with these exercises. DC now 6 and 7 and no problems with my pelvic floor thank you very much Grin
