Oh stylish and omnipresent ones...

What shoes to wear with this dress for a wedding....

www.monsoon.co.uk/new-dresses/eva-maxi-dress/invt/85318576/&bklist=icat,5,shop,women,womenparty,wommaxidress

Oh and do you know where I can buy breastfeeding full slips?

Do you want heels?
I think nude shoes with that dress.

worm77daisy · 06/03/2011 20:05

I would like a heel and a flat option maybe a wedge heel???

Do you think a shiny nude or a suedey nude??

worm77daisy · 06/03/2011 20:06

Also do you think a hat/fascinator would be too much with this dress?

catinboots · 06/03/2011 20:10

Oh dear lord I love that dress.

Wait here while I go on a shoe mission.

Small fascinator would be very cool.

Is it for a wedding??

catinboots · 06/03/2011 20:16

Would you like something like these flowery ones?

Are these too high??

Shiny option?

Good budget buy??

worm77daisy · 06/03/2011 20:16

It is for a wedding, a week after the baby arrives so it is good for breastfeeding AND hiding my wobbly belly :)

catinboots · 06/03/2011 20:16

Let me know if any of these are what you're thinking of. I'll keep looking...

catinboots · 06/03/2011 20:17

This fascinator is pretty. Kind of retro.

tethersend · 06/03/2011 20:18

these would work well

I love the fascinator as the wedding is very much vintage style I think that it would look lovely and I am off to order...

In respect of shoes I have my two year old as flower girl and I will have had a c-section a week before so am thinking that although the gloriously high ones are beautiful and very much what I would love to wear I am going to have to be sensible, the cheaper wedges maybe the answer...

OP posts:
cybilliberty · 06/03/2011 20:28

PLEASE no to a fascinator

A gorgeous pair of chandelier style earrings far prettier

worm77daisy · 06/03/2011 20:28

oooh I like those red ones...

OP posts:
corns12k · 06/03/2011 20:29

£££
I love the red poets bow peep shoes

corns12k · 06/03/2011 20:31

are these too casual?

lowra · 06/03/2011 20:31

The dress is gorgeous, yes to nude wedges and no to fascinator. How about a flower instead, or the earrings option.

worm77daisy · 06/03/2011 20:31

I like the idea of chandelier earrings but I think my toddler/baby might too... Also I am quite petite so not sure what is the best option would be.

Being pregnant and residing in comfy clothes for too long! Have not idea what goes with what! Very grateful for all the ideas, it has taken me forever to find the right dress.

OP posts:
lowra · 06/03/2011 20:33

I think they are corns, something a bit more elegant required.

worm77daisy · 06/03/2011 20:33

I thought maybe fresh flowers for my hair like fresias on a clip but wondered if that would be too bridesmaidy?

OP posts:
catinboots · 06/03/2011 20:33

tis not a fascinator - it's a beautiful barnet adornment.

BUY BUY BUY!! Grin

worm77daisy · 06/03/2011 20:34

I apologise for the grammar in my post two above this... Getting very excited by all the help!

I think these Monsoon shoes would look lovely

www.monsoon.co.uk/invt/84177942

or Wallis has some taupe peep toe wedge courts which are a nice.

I think tan or gold kitten heel sandals or wedges, or nude peep toe kitten heels would look nice.

Instead of a fascinator a flower hair clip would be lovely.

Maddikins · 06/03/2011 20:59

These Dune Nikki wedges, or the Tamika mid heel peep toe, not sure how to link.
