....well top's ,coat's and jacket's are not to much of a problem - a size 6 is normally fine but bottom's are another story.A load of Oasis jean's and trouser's are going back and it was Boden the week before.I,m looking for relatively grown-up, well made brands and not from petite ranges as at 5'3 these are too short.Any idea's ?.
Oh and by the way I,ve got a normal bmi -just a small boned narrow person so please no comments about putting on weight.Interestingly 25 years ago a size 8 was fine in pretty much every high-street brand and I,ve not changed in shape/size.

ahhh, you've not changed but the vanity sizing has gone bonkers....
I think i'm a similar size to you, and I get New look jeans and occasionally Warehouse skirts and stuff - the last couple I've bought have size 6 on the lablel Hmm Wink
some of Debenhams (Red Herring)is ok, some ridiculously large. How 'grown up' were you thinking? I tend to compromise between the not-totally-teenagey but relatively fashionable.

Ted Baker go small, so do European brands like Mango and Zara and they're good quality. Look in TK Maxx for brands like DKNY and Calvin Klein as well. For work shirts, TM Lewin do lovely size 6 fitted shirts that are the only shirts ever not to gape around my waist. Austin Reed also unlikey but good for fitted dresses, skirts and trousers.

The high street is crap for small sizes, IMO!

everything... I don't find River Island that good a fit for trousers (pity!) - they tend to come up quite big on the waist and small on the legs. Their shorts are great tho! Anything worth a try for the OP Wink

Karen millen, she cuts for women with hips and does a size 6 which fits me in tops.

There's an eBay shop too, I type in seller Karen millen or look for buy it now with free postage and look for sellers other items.
