As one of the trial panel of ordinary people who tested the new range its very pleasing to see they used my comments. Having been biting my tongue when people on the board have skin issues as it was top secret.

Anyway secret is out and it is great stuff and no I am not paid by them, I`m a mummy who needed help !

Thought it remiss if I didn`t share my new fave products.

So enjoy

Oooooh. I received an email from them yesterday.

  1. how old are you?
  2. what did you test?
  3. what were the results like?
  4. how did you get selected as a tester?

I bought their 30 day Bootcamp Tummy stuff but never really used it.

tulpe · 05/03/2011 18:50

Hey Brookeslay - I was also a tester!

Have been wanting to tell people for ages as I am a total convert :)

MaeMobley - get busy with their Bootcamp for Tummies pack if you still have it. It really does help.

sleepysox · 05/03/2011 19:32

How did you both find the time to do everything they asked?

I was chosen as a tester too, and once I'd read through the initial pack I realised it was too much for me to be able to do properly with 2 young kids, one due to go into hospital for a major op and a having just started a new job, so i sent it all back untried. They gave me a mm goody bag as a thank you :)

If only this opportunity had come along later on, I'd have been so up for it!

WAs the face cream as good as it looked?

brookeslay · 05/03/2011 19:38

woohoo lovely to meet you Tulpe whose team were you in ?

Wow lots of questions Mae

  1. soon 40
  2. tested the High Protein Skin Care range
  3. Results were a resounding success the reviews on their website are of the testers.
  4. I got picked after a review process and my plea for help !

My favourite top three products were in no order ( sounds like the Oscars !) Clean Slate, Eye Know and Mighty Moisture.

They smell heavenly even better than the other mama mio products if that could be possible and they have very unique textures compared to other products on the market.

So heres good luck to them and I would love to know what other mumnetters think of them when they try them.

Sorry to hear about that sleepysox the intial way of recording the results was amended.

The routine I normally did in the shower and before bed. I did some funny videos but I didnt send them in Im not a natural in front of the camera.

The results I recorded when my youngest had his afternoon sleep. It seemed daunting at 1st but was fine really, though I totally understand your plate was full to burst !.

The Mighty Moisture the product I think you are referring to was fantastic very light and effective. I hate gloopy cream that take an age to sink in and this is super quick to work.

I might have to go and buy some when my current lot of moisturisers have run out. The blurb on it did sound promising.

brookeslay · 05/03/2011 20:02

I know John Lewis stock Mama Mio go and have a squirt see what you think.

Kind that they gave you a goody bag though, hope the OP was sucessful and your job is going well :)

Thanks Brookeslay. I think I will have to try some.

Tulpe, I still have the Tummy Bootcamp. Will get going as I really need it.

tulpe · 06/03/2011 22:01

Mae in answer to your questions:

  1. how old are you? 40
  2. what did you test? High Protein Skin Range
  3. what were the results like? Fabulous. Totally fabulous. I am a total convert to both the products and the exercises.
  4. how did you get selected as a tester? I applied online. We had to answer a few questions about why we wanted to try the products etc

Brookeslay - I was in Sian's gang :)

ITA with everything you've said about the uniqueness of the products. They smell gorgeous and I cannot believe how long-lasting they are due to the fact that you have to use such small amounts per application.

My favourite products were the same as yours too.

I have just placed an order for more. They aren't cheap but the price is reflected in the ingredients and the results. I won't be buying any other skin care range now :)

sleepysox · 06/03/2011 22:49

brookeslay- the op was very successful, thanks for asking :). DS had a fused suture on his skull (it fused at 10 weeks gestation, he's 16 months old now). It was inhibiting his brain growth, so he basically had the top of his skull removed and reconfigured. Since the op his development has improved dramatically, he can now use a hard spouted beaker, which is amazing, consider when he was born they thought he'd have to be tube fed. He has also started crawling, and they weren't sure if he'd move, so we are very pleased. (He has special needs too, it's not just the fused suture that's causing these things).

My job is going brilliantly. It's long hours- I'm a teacher, but they have been so supportive over me needing so much time off due to the op. I feel very lucky.

Am off to dig out the remainders of my old Tummy Bootcamp stuff!

brookeslay · 07/03/2011 16:08
