Ultrasun or other once a day sunscreens . . .

Does anyone have any experience of these at all? I know tis a bit early to be thinking about sunscreen but have booked a hol and am fed up of feeling like a greasy kipper on hol constantly coating myself and two vee pale DD's in regular sunscreen.

Was toying with the idea of a once a day-er but it is a bit of a leap of faith for a pale and pasty lass like myself.

Any experience or recommendations? Is a beach resort based family holiday so lots of in and out of pools and maybe sea etc.

Thanks!

ultrasun is amazing. I tried out p20 at the weekend and was a bit disappointed, as even though I wasn't 'in the sun' for more than a couple of hours, my cheeks were red. This was with factor 50 AND I was mostly in the shade.

I like Ultrasun and Boots Once range. P20 works well and use it as a child, but it feels like coating myself in glue, so don't use it.

I use P20 or the the Wilko equivalent, calypso which is £6 a bottle. I've been using it on me and DD for about 3 years now because i hate sun cream with a passion and i can put this on once and then forget about it. I make sure it goes on before clothes so there are no missed bits and neither of us has ever burned with it. DH uses it too but doesn't trust it so he tops up at intervals. Hmm

calypso us cheap and effective, doesn't stain and is the only sun protection I have ever used that sinks in and doesn't leave a sticky greasy film on your skin. I put it on after washing on a morning and that's it for the full day! amazing stuff if a little strong and chemically for the face.
